What inspires me visually?

What inspires me visually? I believe a lot of my visual inspiration stems from my background in dance and ballet. I have a deep interest in people and femininity. Natural lines and expressions and uniqueness of individuals. I tend to prefer to take portraits for this reason, every face is beautiful and flawed in its own way.

 I use Pinterest for references and when I feel like I need a spark of creativity. I literally have a board dedicated to visual art that impacts me. Consuming different artist and different kinds of visual art and then taking what I like from them to make something completely unique. I personally also like the aesthetic of vintage, antique, old advertisements and graphics. Music will also drive a lot of creativity for me, I will always have something playing when I'm creating, Fleetwood Mac, Mac Miller, Tyler Childers, all with a lot of story telling in their songs. 

I am also very influenced by Movies, The Joker, The Revenant, Moonrise Kingdom, Spirited Away, just to name a few. Animation and digital art are majors sources of inspiration.
