Annie Leibovitz

 Starting from her beginnings in commercial photography with The Rolling Stones, Annie Leibovitz has been able to capture the deeper thoughts, feelings, emotions, thoughts, desires, of these famous and influential people. An interesting perspective that we aren't used to seeing from these people in the starlight. Some of these images are very vulnerable imagery of scars and these people very close and personal. 

A collection I enjoyed looking through very much and also remembered seeing through vogue and other social media posts was the Disney Collection. As a Disney lover and also as a lover of the actors she chose to play those roles, I think that project really blew her up to reach even more audiences. Especially younger audiences. The creativity and complexity of the images are fantastic. It is very similar to a movie and you wish that these famous people would actually get paid to play those roles. 

Her portraits are so eye catching in that most of her subjects are well known and beautiful people. Each one represents the individual so uniquely. These images of Baryshnikov, Anne Hathaway, and Misty Copeland are primarily my favorite because of the individual but how she choose to capture their vibe and essence is what I like the most.
